As a member of the nursing team, you will support all staff in Fracture Clinic to deliver a high standard of care to patients in a caring and safe environment.
To assist in the organisation and efficiency of the delivery of the fracture clinic service to users/patients.
To provide assistance to medical colleagues in clinic.
To ensure effective stock management and re-stock as required.

The West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds provides acute and secondary care services (emergency department, maternity and neonatal services, day surgery unit, eye treatment centre, Macmillan unit and children's ward). It has 500+ beds and is a partner teaching hospital of the University of Cambridge.
Adult and paediatric community services, provided in collaboration with West Suffolk Alliance partners, include a range of nursing, therapy, specialist, and ongoing temporary care and rehabilitation, some at our Newmarket Community Hospital.

- Assist the organisation and efficiency of supporting a clinic.

To provide care during clinics working within local guidelines and hospital policy.
Actively participate in own development and review to identify training needs.
To have good knowledge of patient confidentiality.
To ensure good record keeping.
To undertake mandatory training identified by the Trust.
Employees of the Trust are required to participate in a system of appraisal and performance review to identify training and development needs.
Awareness of Trust/Departmental risk management policies/procedures.
