Responsibilities:

- Utilise professional spray equipment to finish doors, frames and joinery items in a variety of finishes, lacquers, paints and stains, and have an understanding of all of these finishes.
- Maintenance and upkeep of the spray equipment and spray booth facilities, ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to.
- Preparation work including checking, cleaning, filling, and sanding of doors and frames, before, during and after spraying.
- Assisting with checking of the quality of door production.
- Assisting with general warehouse operation - lifting heavy doors, storage of doors etc.
- Ensuring stock is stored in correct locations for stock checks.
- Positive attitude to work, a team-playing approach, and good time-keeping.
- When required, to assist in other duties.
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Planning work and work station
- Requiring mínimal supervision to produce work
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Previous experience is essential, as is physical fitness.
- Perform work in accordance with specifications, instructions, and/or company policies
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a sprayer + paint prepper is preferred
- Familiarity with spray equipment and tools used in painting
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes
- Knowledge of power tools such as paint sprayers and sanders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time

**Hours of work** - 06:00-14:30 Monday - Thursday, 06:00-13:30 Friday, Overtime available.

**Location** - Tyseley Birmingham B11

**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
