Financial Business Partner

Millfield are seeking a qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) to operate as a business partner. Initially this role will report to the Financial Controller, but it is envisaged this will change in the short to medium term and so a flexible approachis required. Ultimately, this role will have a bias towards commercial activities and financial IT systems implementation. We believe this represents a significant opportunity for career development in a dynamic environment. The role will initially focus on some of the following key areas: - Management information reporting including profitability, cashflow and other key performance indicators ("KPIs"); - Business plans, financial reviews and ad-hoc reports as required by the Financial Controller and Director of Enterprises (our trading entity); - Assist in the migration and implementation of new financial reporting systems; probably including working on a new e-commerce platform; - "Day to day" financial management of our Enterprises division’s financial reporting, including - Budget setting and controls - Nominal ledger postings - Accounts receivable - Purchase order process; - Employment reporting; - Commercial contracts - VAT and regulatory reporting - Responsibility for preparation of annual financial statements for a number of our entities, which will require working with auditors and other professional advisors **Requirements**: Experience of producing statutory and management accounts, financial analysis and managing internal and external audits is essential. Experience of commercial contracts and implementing financial systems would be beneficial. This is a full-time role workingall-year round and will be based in the Senior School in Street.
