A large business in St Albans are looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join a team of clerks and add an additional resource to a business that has seen sustained growth. With a purchase ledger manager to support the new individual to settle into the newrole and company. This role will need someone that has been part of a large business in the accounts payable team and used to processing a high volume of invoices and making payments worth over £20m per month.

The company do offer an excellent management team and supportive structure that will help people to feel part of the team and get them to settle. With a great head office team, this will be a great opportunity for someone who has a good understanding ofpurchase ledger.

**Duties**:

- Input supplier invoices.
- Match invoices to GRN's at branches.
- Allocate direct debit payments to invoices.
- Process payment runs.
- Reconciling accounts balances to supplier statements.
- Sending queries to seniors for resolution.
- Resolve queries from suppliers, and other departments.
- Liaising with Suppliers to request credit notes or resolve issues.
- Supplier account maintenance.
- Load Payments
- Foreign Invoices and Payments

Person spec:

- Experienced purchase ledger clerk
- Experience in reconciliations and invoice processing
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid IT skills
