Wollaton Park Care Home, 40 bedrooms and Wollaton View Care Home, 46 bedrooms are well-established residential care homes situated on Lambourne Drive in Wollaton.

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our current teams.

Position is for days and will include alternate weekends.

**Purpose of the Role**:

- To provide care for the residents under the guidance of the Senior Care Assistants, Team Leaders and Home
- Ensure that all residents are treated with respect and dignity, and that the resident’s rights to privacy, dignity, independence and choice are met.
- Ensuring that the Company’s values of trust, respect and care are always maintained.
- To attend other staff meetings as required

**Resident Focus**:

- To act as a keyworker for a number of residents
- To assist the residents in personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting needs.
- Promptly respond to call bells
- To report any incidents or accidents immediately to a Senior member of staff
- To ensure that all residents are socially presentable in appearance at all times
- Recording resident information in the resident care notes as needed.

**Knowledge skills and experience required;**
- Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively on all levels and be a team player.
- Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a care setting
- Reliable
- Hardworking
- Friendly
- Ability to work on your own initiative and with a team

Wages to be discussed upon interview, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
