**Main purpose of the role**:
The role is responsible for completing the audit function for the business; this includes attending the branches and completing face-to-face audits, desktop audits and career path audits. Also supporting the wider Anti Money Laundering and Compliance team in ensuring that the company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

**Accountable to**: Head of Training & Development EA / Deputy MLRO
**Responsible for**: Anti-Money Laundering, Audit, Compliance & Administration
**Salary**:£18,000 - £34,000 dependent on experience
**Hours of work**: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 6pm
**Activities / Main Duties**:
- Attend induction & complete all required legislation training.
- Keep up to date with all working legalisation regarding Anti Money Laundering & Terrorist financing.
- Working understanding of Spicerhaart policies surrounds listings and Sales process.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of ROSIE and IDBS.
- Attend offices and complete branch compliance audits
- New Area Partner. Manager - Super Checks
- Career path and promotion audits
- Support where needed administration and management of the AML mailbox and alerts.
- Management of the SmartSearch / Internal systems.
- Proactive chasing of branches for missing information.
- Initial investigation of failed searches for risk.
- Level one investigation of identified risks and SAR’s.
- Support and administration of PEP’s overseas and business clients.
- Working with the MLRO & Deputy MLRO to ensure that the risks are identified in a timely manner.
- Working with the MLRO to ensure training and policies are up to date.
- Support of other areas of compliance such as;
- CPR
- GDPR including SARs requests for Estate Agency
- Health and Safety.
**Role specific competencies**:
Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills, is able to effectively manage their time and effectively solve problems.
A full understanding of the legislation in which we are governed by and the discipline to stay up to date with any changes.
Must be able to manage difficult conversations with empathy.
Work within the parameters of set Service Level agreements to provide a high level of customer (internal) support.
Effectively manage AML alerts, is able to work effectively in a team, and is able to demonstrate effective objective and goal setting.
Understands Spicerhaart Ways and Policies.
Comfortable with IT systems and technology.
