**The Opportunity**

This 12-month placement offers a starting salary of £24,500 and the chance to work at #Bridgwater in the Somerset Innovation Centre (SDC).

You’ll join our Finance Programme, supporting Financial Control Analysts and Managers. You’ll contribute to monthly reporting cycles, budget control, investment proposals and ad-hoc projects - gaining broad exposure to the business and honing your commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

During your Finance Industrial Placement, you’ll assist with monthly financial reporting, journal posting and accountability processes. You’ll help deliver accurate management information, support budget and headcount control, and collaborate with planning, reporting and project controls teams.

**Your Work Location**

You’ll be based at the Somerset Innovation Centre (#Bridgwater), supporting financial operations for Hinkley Point C.

**Who You Are**

To be eligible for this EDF industrial placement, you need to be on track to achieve - or have already achieved - a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree (2:2 or higher) in Finance or Economics.

**Security Vetting**

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
