Job Summary

Working at a business in the Newport/Gilberdyke area packing and loading goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments
- Verify and inspect items received for damages or defects
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Use warehouse management system to track and manage inventory
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare orders for shipment by labeling, packaging, and securing items
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts

Desired requirements

FLT/Counterbalance licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
