**What you will be doing**:

- To be an integral member of the support team.
- To investigate and resolve assign incidents.
- To action approved and designed changes.
- To communicate with customers to provide progress reports on Incidents.
- To identify and report on areas of known problems.
- To monitor relevant queues within the incident reporting tool.
- Measures and optimises infrastructure network performance.
- Provides Tier 2 support, in the framework of service level agreements (SLA)
- Must regularly inform the Team Leader or another manager regarding work and projects progress.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Network Security Engineer will have over 3 years relevant industry experience in a Service Provider environment
- Understanding of network security principals and basic network principles including: Firewalls Web Application Firewalls Load Balancing Routing and Switching WAN and LAN technologies Telephony and Video WiFi
- Direct experience in two or more the following security platforms: Firewalls - Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint Web Application Firewalls - F5 ASM. Load
- Balancing - F5 LTM, Cisco ACE, Citrix Netscaler.
- Industry Standard Qualifications such as: Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security / Switching & Routing. Palo Alto PCNSE F5-CTS LTM/ASM Checkpoint CCSA
