**Health and Safety Advisor**
**Permanent**
**£30,000 - £35,000**
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join a thriving haulage company who offer a broad spectrum of services and have grown to be one of the largest specialist haulage companies in the country. As an enthusiastic HSE Assistant you will provide practical and hands on health and safety support and assistance across the site which includes offices, warehouses workshops and yard areas.
**As Health and Safety Advisor you will be responsible for**:
- You will participate in remote site H&S safety inspections.
- Risk assessments and COSHH assessments will be a key part of your role
- Assist with accident and incident investigations to ensure the timely production of corrective and preventative action plans.
- You will also conduct HSE consumable inventory checks with our team of HGV Drivers.
- As the HSE Advisor you will be involved in preparing Health and Safety literature including Memos’, Newsletters and Tool Box talks on a monthly basis.
**You will have the following skills and experience**:
- Strong background in Health & Safety
- NEBOSH Certificate is beneficial but not essential
- Good communication skills able to work with a variety of teams
- Team player and able to work independently
