My client is a UK Gas and energy engineering specialist offering design, build and maintenance on critical national infrastructure for the UK gas asset owners.

The company provide a comprehensive range of water infrastructure services covering all aspects of pipeline networks including investigation, design, planning infrastructure maintenance, mains rehabilitation, new connections, metering and repairs.

**Key responsibilities for this CDM Coordinator role**:

- Ensuring compliance with the responsibilities of the Principal Designer under CDM
- Managing the effective coordination of all parties under CDM including clients, designers and contractors
- Informing and assisting clients in discharging their duties at each stage of the process
- Establishing and maintaining a record of principles and decisions taken in relation to health and safety in feasibility studies, including design risk assessment
- Carrying out design reviews with team members and co-ordinating health and safety matters
- Ensuring that designers have established safe methods for construction of unusual or complex water network designs and making this available as part of the pre-construction information
- Ensuring detailed records of design meetings and decisions are maintained
- Managing effective control of documents and records
- Preparing and submitting project specific Health and Safety Files on completion

**Experience required for this CDM Coordinator role**:

- Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
- A background in Health and Safety and knowledge of CDM Regs are essential.

**Package offered for this CDM Coordinator role**:

- A basic salary of £35,000-40,000 depending on experience
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 3/5% pension contrubiton
