Hanover is looking for a Junior Consultant to join the London Multiple team.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**:
The Junior Consultant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of brand, creative, digital and communications strategy for Multiple’s key clients (tech start-ups and scaleups), as well as working in Hanover’s corporate team providing high-quality monitoring and research services to blue chip clients (across financial services, FMCG, energy & natural resources and TMT).

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Participating with client projects from start to finish providing support and ideas throughout the process
- Collaborating with other team members to produce strategic written documents for brand positioning
- Supporting with strategy workshops and feedback sessions with clients and team members
- Building strong relationships internally and externally, identifying any relevant opportunities (and threats) for our projects and clients
- Provide timely and relevant media monitoring (of print, online and broadcast media) keeping up-to-date press cutting files and compiling press cutting reports for clients
- Compile press lists of target journalists for specific news stories and events
- Draft high-quality press releases and media material
- Sell in news stories to print and broadcast journalists, as well as writers for digital titles
- Conduct value-add research and produce quality intelligence reports for existing clients and sector specific new business meetings as required
- Draft client meeting agendas and effective action notes from internal account meetings and new business meetings

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Fantastic creative writing skills, able to support in the crafting of high quality ‘brand stories’ (must-have)
- A keen interest in getting under the skin of businesses, working with founders (must-have)
- A strategic mind with immense problem-solving ability (must-have)
- A desire to develop business media contacts (must-have)
- Experience working in a brand / comms agency (nice-to-have)
- A working knowledge of the venture-backed start-up landscape and language (nice-to-have)
- A working knowledge of corporate communications (nice-to-have)
- Demonstrable interest in UK media, business news and current affairs (nice-to-have)
