Come and join a team of 12 developers in this logistics software company. They are currently leading the way in software-based logistics, ever-improving the efficiency of warehousing, transport, tracking, mobile and safety/security for their clients.
**This role's biggest challenge.**
The biggest challenge in this role is having the capability to understand and review the processes and complexities of a large integrated IT system alongside interacting with clients to assist in the definition of new functionalities and/or solve any issuesin a fast paced and dynamic environment.
**The role.**
- Software development
- Understanding development specifications and requirements, contributing to overall design, proposing improvements and highlighting deficiencies
- Following version control standards
- Testing and documenting work
- Offering warranty on all delivered code
- Supporting issues when required, ensuring minimum impact on planned development
- Recommending latest technologies and associated trainings to the Development Manager

**Requirements for a successful applicant.**
- SQL development background
- Microsoft Excel competency
- Microsoft Access competency
- Strong skills in build processes, code & configuration management etc.
- Understanding of database design practices and patterns
- Ability to understand code produced by others

**Desirable but non-essential skills.**
- Ability to speak Flemish, Czech or Polish
- VB / C# experience
