**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the catering team to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and client preferences.
- Train, mentor, and manage team members to enhance their skills in food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with event planners to ensure all catering requirements are met for various events.
- Maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during events.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and catering areas at all times.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers.
