**The Montefiore Hospital are looking for a Ward Host to join their friendly team. As a Ward Host you will provide excellent customer service to patients visiting the hospital.**

The Montefiore Hospital is rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging, and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, cardiology, and general surgery all delivered through our expert and caring clinical team. The hospital is well-positioned to maximise the excellent local public transport. There are buses that stop in the vicinity and is also within walking distance of both Hove and Brighton train station

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Providing excellent customer service whilst delivering food to patients staying on the wards.
- You will follow policies and procedures and complete any risk assessments needed.
- You will be working as a team with the chefs and kitchen staff and may be required to work in the kitchen when needed, including servicing and maintaining coffee and beverage areas at the hospital.
- You will have a flexible approach and excellent team working skills.

**Who we're looking for**
- You will be working in a high paced environment, so attention to detail is key for this role.
- You will have a positive attitude and be flexible in your duties at the hospital
- You will be a people person, ideally with experience in a customer facing role
- Catering or waiting experience is desirable but not essential
