This Year 6 Teaching Assistant post will suit a graduate who has a burning desire of becoming a Primary teacher and wants to develop their teaching ability before they embark on their PGCE.

Location: Barking and Dagenham
Role: Year 6 Teaching Assistant (Full-time positions only)
Duration: 1-year minimum contract - opportunity to go permanent with the school after a year
Pay Scale: Between £70 - £100 per day (paid weekly)
Required Specification: Minimum 2:1 graduate with some experience within a primary or with supporting young people informally (summer camp etc.)
Desirable: 6 months or more within a Primary school as a Year 6 Teaching Assistant.

We are currently seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join an ‘Outstanding’ school in Barking and Dagenham on a full-time basis. The school are looking for a minimum 2:1 graduate with a pre-existing understanding of the primary curriculum, with good literacyand numeracy skills. Along with this, we are looking for a bubbly and passionate Year 6 Teaching Assistant who can work with students taking their SATS, running and monitoring maths and English booster sessions when required
