Elemis Training Specialist

**Description**:
The role of a Professional Development Training Specialist is to take pride in being part of a Best-in-Class Education Team. This role delivers engaging and inspiring theoretical and practical training, enhancing the skills and knowledge of spa professionals to ensure that industry professionals deliver high-quality ELEMIS services and product recommendations. This role aims to support business goals, brand awareness, and treatment and product sales.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Best-in-Class Education**:

- A member of the training team that works collaboratively to explore all possibilities, consistently pushing the boundaries to reimagine and evolve the direction of education.
- Presents the brand as an exemplary brand ambassador in all work situations
- Is competent in delivering all ELEMIS core curriculum, both theoretical and practical, both in person and digitally via streaming.
- Is competent to set up and deliver on-site training at key accounts.
- Can adapt to the training needs and identify areas for skill development, recommending a bespoke training pathway.

**Technical Training**:

- Provide hands-on training for Elemis spa and retail services, including skincare, massage techniques, and other related services.
- Competent to instruct on the use of specialised equipment.

**Customer Service Training**:

- Deliver training on excellent customer service, client communication, and maintaining a positive client experience.
- Emphasise client engagement and satisfaction during training sessions.

**Product Knowledge**:

- Educate staff on the features and benefits of all Elemis product franchises, ensuring they are competent in prescribing and retailing ELEMIS products in their place of work.
- Educate staff on the use and benefits of all Elemis professional-only products, ensuring they are competent in their use within an ELEMIS treatment.
- Has a depth of product knowledge sufficient to the audience needs to be directed by The Head of Education
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product launches to incorporate relevant information into training programs.

**Health and Safety**:

- Instruct industry professionals on industry-standard health and safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards in the training and treatment environment.

**Soft Skills Development**:

- Provide training on interpersonal skills, effective communication, and teamwork.
- Emphasise the importance of professionalism and creating a positive atmosphere for clients.

**Continued Education**:

- Stay informed about advancements in beauty and spa treatments, techniques, and products and, the latest training delivery methodologies

**Assessment and Feedback**:

- Evaluate and assess the Spa therapist's competency level to attain certification.
- Provide constructive feedback to spa professionals to support their continuous improvement.

**Hybrid Approach to Education**:
Successfully execute educational programs via varied methods of delivery:
On-site training at key spa accounts, in-person training at an Elemis training space, video recorded, and streamed.

**Communication**:
Work effectively as a team with other individuals and colleagues within the Education team, and across all UK company departments.

**Efficiency**:
Manage and be responsible for work schedules and responsibilities, working professionally, efficiently, and timely.

**Travel**:
Have the flexibility to travel within the UK & Ireland with overnight stays when needed.

**Standard Responsibilities**

- To carry out other duties as so requested by management when required
- Track expenses in a timely and fiscally responsible manner

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:

- Beauty Therapy qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, including facial and body electrical
- CIDESCO qualification is highly desirable
- Passionate about the beauty and spa industry.
- Teacher training qualification is highly desirable
- Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent
- Training experience within the beauty industry is desirable
- Patient and encouraging in the training environment.
- Adaptable to the diverse learning styles of spa and beauty professionals.
- Social Media training and experience highly desirable
- Self-motivated, organised with strong attention to detail.
- Competent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Experience working within a team environment, working collaboratively, and building positive business partnerships
- Ability to listen and understand the needs of others, translating those needs into elevated education
- General computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- In-depth knowledge of beauty and spa services, products, and industry trends.
- Ability to demonstrate and teach practical spa and beauty services.
