**General Maintenance and Site Support**

**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking a capable production assistant to work in our fast paced, progressive, growing company that designs and manufactures Diesel and Aviation Fuel Storage equipment at our manufacturing site in Heysham. We are a UK based business with a truly global customer base.

As one of our production assistants, you will undertake a wide variety of tasks at our Heysham based manufacturing facility.

To be the right fit for this role, you should be familiar with engineering equipment and manufacturing processes. You will also be capable of working to a high standard and self-motivated.

Additional training will be available to keen individuals who have no experience but are enthusiastic to learn new skills.

**Day-to-day duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to**
- Issuing daily consumables and PPE
- Undertake daily housekeeping duties of yard and factory
- Clean and maintain general equipment such as grinders, weld sets etc.
- Assist with goods in/out
- Maintain the daily Health & Safety requirements of the company.
- Deliver and retrieve products to customers and from suppliers

**Preferred Skills**

Proficient in English, both written and verbal

Ability to listen and understand instructions, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well alone.

Health and Safety awareness within a workshop environment.

Ability to work flexible work patterns if required

Own transport will be required

IPAF and FLT experience will be advantageous
