An exciting 2-year Fixed Term contract role has arisen for an EHS Practitioner too join us, based from our Wrexham plant You’ll be responsible for supporting the EHS Manager in the development and implementation of health and safety strategies and programs, in support of the required business and plant strategies. This includes owning and managing the implementation and maintenance of comprehensive EHS compliance systems at plant level.
Dependent on performance, you will have the opportunity to progress within our health and safety team, both at plant level, corporate or within our wider European team. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
H&S Programme - Lead and execute required H&S programmes to ensure the site complies with H&S legislative requirements and Kellanova standards.
Reports - Lead the collation, monitoring, and review of H&S Key Performance Indicators and present reports via DDS, monthly, quarterly, etc. meetings.
Investigations - Co-ordinate the closure of incident investigations ensuring full Root Cause Aanalysis, tracking associated Corrective and Preventive actions have been closed and appropriately recorded and signed off.
Insurance Claims - Lead the collation of all information for any Employer Liability/Public Liability insurance claims for the site.
Building Capabilities - Build capabilities within the plant work teams by developing and delivering the relevant information, instruction, and training (KWS LSW - Safety 7, BOP, etc.).
We’re Looking for Someone With
EHS qualifications (NEBOSH Diploma or working towards this). An understanding/working knowledge of domestic Environmental Health and Safety legislative requirements and best practice. Understanding/working knowledge of EHS programmes. Understanding/working knowledge of hazard awareness, risk perception and risk assessment. Experience with management systems and document control.
