Based in Deal, Kent, Lauriem Complete Care Ltd are a well established and expanding provider of domiciliary health and social care services. We serve as both a local authority contracted & private provider throughout the South East region.
We are currently looking for a Office Care Coordinator to join our team in Deal, Kent
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week working on a shift pattern, Monday to Friday from either 7am to 3pm or 9am until 5pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Flexibility will be needed to occasionally cover out of hours and care calls.
Responsibilities of Office Care Coordinator Role:
- Line Management responsibilities for supervisors and support workers.
- Maintain accurate community support workers and client records, both computerised and manual and complete paperwork as appropriate in line with procedures.
- To take responsibility for the provision of care in your allocated locality. This will be achieved by permanently matching support workers to clients.
- Monitor support workers by using a positive approach, carrying out supervisions, appraisals and quality assurance reviews.
- Liaise with other professionals involved in the service users care, to provide appropriate information necessary for them to fulfill and discharge their own responsibilities.
Role Requirements:
- Experience in domiciliary care and coordinating preferred.
- QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (Adults) preferred.
- Be knowledgeable regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, health and safety, equality and diversity and company policies and procedure.
- Experience of supervising a team preferred.
- Experience of providing high quality customer service within a pressurised environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to probe and follow up on issues.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations & data protection act.
- Good knowledge and ability to use computers and answering phones in a professional manner
- Part of this role will be to cover care visits and on-call in an emergency. Therefore, a valid driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.
