As Creative Design Lead you'll work alongside the Senior Lead Creative Services to help guide a small team of designers through mentorship and feedback in the creation of creative assets for digital, print, social and out of home projects.

You'll be a meticulous and versatile designer with proven collaboration skills and experience mentoring junior designers. A strong understanding of graphic design, typography and digital standards is as essential as the experience to execute projects of all sizes.

We are also evolving our brand all the time, so you’ll have the opportunity to add your own stamp and fresh ideas to the mix.

This is a fixed term position up to 8 months, based at offices in Kings Cross with hybrid working.
- Internal only: This role is a Grade D at Kings Place_

**Requirements**:
**We’re looking for someone to**:

- Lead and mentor the team of designers in the UK
- Lead on the development of visual design strategy and the development of visual design for creative projects, ensuring consistency with the overall Eurostar brand and marketing strategy

- Deliver high standard of creative concept in line with the stakeholders and company requirements
- Work closely with the Brand team to provide creative leadership and direction to the team of designers
- Produce sketches, mood boards and visual storyboards to communicate ideas to the team and the stakeholders when required
- Pitch creative solutions to all stakeholders in response to the Commercial, Customer Experience and Operation strategies
- Brief the team of designers on all new projects with the Creative Resource & Delivery Manager and work closely to deliver all creative projects within their agreed timescales
- Motivate the design team and grow the Eurostar brand by delivering top level creative and ensuring consistence level of approach and implementation
- Work closely with digital team, agencies and partners to ensure brand consistency
- Look for ways to develop new design and deliver high standard of creative concept within the guidelines

**You will need**:

- Proven experience in leading/mentoring a team and leading brand and identity, as well as collaborating with agencies
- Excellent foundations in both print and digital
- Strong knowledge in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Ability to cope with changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Ability to implement and work accurately with the brand guidelines
- Understanding of the advertising process and how to handle languages in creative design and typography
- Consistent ability to produce and communicate fresh ideas and visual concepts
- High levels of motivation and perseverance with a strong sense of belief in your ideas and the skills and confidence to express them
- Enthusiasm for the brand with a real desire to keep up to date with new developments in the media
- An eye for detail and ability to craft work
- Strong attention to detail
