Product Information Executive

As Essentra Components transitions to becoming an increasingly digitally led organisation, product information and data will be central to the success of the business.
The Product Information Executive role is responsible for the setup, optimisation and upkeep of product information, ensuring product data, images or associated documents are available with the purpose of publishing rich content to Essentra websites and offline publications. In addition, they will be the team point of contact for any data related questions/escalation. They will define best practice policies, processes and governance related to the creation and maintenance of product data and ensure that they are applied.
This role will be key in ensuring the highest levels of customer experience ensuring that product data supports customers in finding and buying the right products. This will be done mainly by working in the divisions Product Information Management (PIM) solution (Stibo STEP) ensuring accuracy and consistency in the product information across all of the products in the Essentra Component Solutions portfolio. The role will also work closely with the Digital merchandising team to ensure that the products are effectively managed online, and that key products are available in a timely manner for promotions.
**Job Requirements**
Will include but are not restricted to:
- Keep all product data and imagery up to date with the latest product information
- Ensure that all new products listed within the business have the required product information and imagery prior to “going live” within our PIM system
- Work closely with the product management team, to communicate the business requirements when it comes to product data and imagery
- Be the main point of contact for product managers for new product listings, information updates and product image updates
Work as a part of the eCommerce team to understand customer and consumer purchasing, and searching behaviours and adjust our data accordingly to maximise basket spend
- Keep themselves up to date with the latest thinking and insight when it comes to product data management and suggest continual ways of improvement
**Skills / Experience required**:
- Experience of creating customer focused content preferably in a B2B environment
Detail-orientated to ensure that product content exceeds customer expectations
- Customer-oriented approach
- Co-ordinating large levels of workload in challenging time frames
- Experienced in working within a Marketing or Digital environment is desirable
- Ability to speak/translate multiple languages is highly desirable but not essential
- Copywriting skills would be desirable
The position can be remote / working from home.
