The One Group are pleased to be working with an Engineering and Technology company in St Neots who deliver precision engineered components into the Automotive and Motorsport sector and are seeking a Trainee CMM/ Production Engineer to join the team on apermanent basis.

This company work with some big hitters in the Automotive and Motorsport sectors and with that in mind they are seeking a Trainee CMM/Production Engineer to learn and develop their skills to produce CMM programs for inspection and in future learn the offlineprogramming of CNC machines.

The day-to-day duties include:

- Program the companies two CMM machines both on and offline
- Generate suitable inspection schedules
- Understand and specify inspection fixture requirements
- Programme CNC machines for the manufacturing of any inspection or manufacturing fixtures using Hypermill CAM software

What we are looking for:

- An experienced multi-axis machinist with a good understanding of manufacturing process looking to move in the quality side of things
- Graduate engineer looking who has a desire for a career in offline programming
- Competent at reading engineers' drawings
