Here at GXO **Northampton**we are recruiting for a **Warehouse Operative** to join our team. Working at our equipment management site, where it’s all about recycling & reuse, for one of the largest supermarket retailers in the UK. You'll play a key role in a busy recycling centre, handling cardboard, plastic, and food waste, as well as supporting the efficient operation of the tray wash process.

You’ll be working on a **full-time, permanent** basis, on a **4 on 4 off** shift pattern, covering the hours of **06:00 to 18:00.**

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Load empty trays and buckets onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
- Unload clean trays from the wash machine, stack away and wrap ready for collection
- Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
- Other warehouse duties depending on operations needs

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- MHE licence beneficial but not essential
- A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new
- Willing to work in an environment with lots of repetitive work
