We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and diligent laboratory technician / lab technician to join our vibrant and expanding team.

**Role**: Laboratory Technician / Lab Technician

**Location**: Fleet, North Hampshire, RG27 8DH

**Salary**: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum plus remuneration package (listed below)

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

Our company is a contract, research & development biotech company specialising in immunoassay development, reagent formulation and bioconjugations.

**Laboratory Technician / Lab Technician**

**Position Overview**:

- Carrying out research and development experiments to support on-going projects.
- Performing routine manufacturing processes following batch records.
- Preparing buffer reagents and solutions.
- Shipment of manufactured reagents.
- Laboratory housekeeping.
- Maintaining equipment, including calibration and verification.

**Position Requirements**:

- BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline.
- Experience of working in an industrial laboratory environment.
- Competent liquid handling skills (the use of pipettes).
- Handling of biological samples.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- IT literate with experience in Office suite.

**Remuneration**:

- £20,000 to £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- 7% staff pension (upon completion of 3 month probationary period).
- 25 days annual leave in additional to public holidays.
- Profit share (eligible following 1 years’ service).
