**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Manage inventory using a Sage System to track stock levels and locations.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against packing lists.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Lift heavy items as required, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines during all operations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting preferred.
- Familiarity with a Stock System is advantageous.
- Strong basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Proficient in materials handling techniques to ensure safe transport of goods.
- Attention to detail
