Salary C: £30k Base + Benefits

Sunday to Friday 10pm to 6am

Our client is a large PLC business that specialise in the service sector.

They seek a dynamic individual for the Enfield site.

JOB FUNCTION

To assist in the management of all aspects of the transport function, in line with legal requirements and company standards of performance

JOB SPEC

Manage the night delivery operation

Ensure all vehicles and drivers conform to relevant health and safety and Road Traffic legislation

Assist in ensuring that you and the drivers are appropriately trained and qualified

Assist with the process for route planning and vehicle loading is appropriate and suggest improvements where possible

Assist with the allocation of work for all drivers and ensure all paper work is correct and authorised as required

Assist with any investigation to resolve all queries relating to deliveries.

Ensure all training requirements are met and regularly reviewed.

Carry out any other reasonable tasks that are required by your line manager.

To deputise where and when appropriate for your line manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

People management experience (essential)

CPC (desirable), if not will be given opportunity to study

Driving experience (desirable)
