Reporting to the Group Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer (CDIO), the Head of Diversity & Inclusion for Group and Global Support (GS) will lead, coordinate, and champion the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) efforts across the business and for the Global Support division to ensure the long-term sustainability of the D&I agenda in relation to our colleagues, customers, and communities. This will include establishing a vision and strategy for the Global Support division, as well as working closely with the CDIO to executive on the Informa Group D&I strategy. It is a hands-on role which will be accountable for the delivery of the action plan, including providing metrics and governance for D&I programs. The role will have responsibilities for global coordination with other regions and divisions.
**Job Description**:
**Key Performance Indicators**
- Work closely with the CDIO to execute on the Allinforma strategic objectives, including helping to define and establish robust measurement and reporting mechanisms
- Identify the key D&I strategic goals for GS that align with our organizational outcomes (e.g., creating an inclusive company culture, increasing employee engagement, be an employer of choice)
- Define the diversity metrics for the GS D&I strategy which will be tracked, in collaboration with the CDIO, Group HR, and Global Support HR teams and business leaders, including, but not limited to functional GS department heads, and recruitment, learning and performance
- Establish robust measurement and reporting mechanisms
- Build business cases to identify and secure third party partnerships or expertise where required
- Review & recommend compliance training & targeted learning and development programs to support the overall mission & objectives of GS D&I strategy
**Global Coordination and Program Management**
- Take a leadership role by owning and delivering various D&I initiatives and programs called for in the group Allinforma strategy
- Partner with and leverage the Allinforma Colleague Run Networks (CRN’s)
- Establish a D&I strategy and set a clear vision for GS to ensure D&I is embedded into GS culture and business strategy
- Design and deliver D&I programs for enhancing GS D&I efforts covering colleagues, customers, and communities
- Partner with HR Leaders to create and implement activities designed to build a culture of inclusion, belonging and wellbeing
- Conduct research internally and externally to identify trends and best practices to help drive the global and GS D&I strategy
- Identify external D&I networks and establish partnerships
- Provide guidance and support to leaders around D&I aligned with the company’s D&I Framework
- Partner with the Global Learning & Performance team to enhance the quality and relevance of internal learning & training provision for GS colleagues
- Partner with the Global Talent Acquisition team to further the GS D&I agenda
**Engagement and Communication**
- Be champion for Diversity & Inclusion and successfully build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Adopt a highly collaborative approach to support the development of the D&I agenda across the business. Working effectively with divisional D&I directors, the CRN’s, GS management teams, regional representatives, champions, Informa Group stakeholders, and allies will be key
- Work with the GS EMT to chair regular D&I meetings, as well as collaborating across the functional areas and regions
- Support the effectiveness of Allinforma D&I Leadership Council
- Be a point of contact for GS D&I related queries and assist in responding appropriately to requests for support regarding D&I
- Be a spokesperson internally and externally and represent Informa to outline our vision and progress in D&I
- Work with the Group and GS communication teams to establish a communication/engagement, with the Allinforma and GS D&I agenda
**Feedback & Governance**
- Establish mechanisms to reduce bias within the GS division
- Work with key Group and GS internal stakeholders to review policies and procedures, ensuring that an inclusive approach is promoted
- Work with key Group and GS internal stakeholders to assess D&I effectiveness around talent acquisition, development, and retention
- Establish and report on a set of metrics/KPIs relevant to IM, tied to the divisional action plan
- Drive continual improvement across the business and establish feedback and review mechanisms
