Drylining Estimator/buyer

Excellent opportunity for an Estimator/Buyer within a growing family run company. Working within a small, close-knit team with opportunity to progress and grow within the role and company as the business expands.

You will be based in office in Loudwater, High Wycombe.

Salary £35-45k per annum based on experience + Pension, training and progression.

The job role of an Estimator/Buyer involves the following duties:

- Liaising with clients to identify their needs
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
- Collaborate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and payment terms
- Analyse project requirements and develop detailed project schedules
- Present estimates and proposals to clients in a professional manner
- Produce buying schedule in conjunction with project team.
- Produce detailed take-offs, understand and read design drawings
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies and best practices in relation to drylining and construction estimating

**Relevant **skills** **of a Estimator/Buyer include**:

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry within the interiors, drylining, suspended ceilings and partitions sector
- Proficient in reading design drawings and interpreting project specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
- Analytical thinking skills

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
