Luxury Country House Hotel with newly refurbished bedrooms requires a focussed person with exacting standards of cleanliness and organization to manage the Housekeeping Department at this highly reputed hotel. Duties include
- Assigning cleaning tasks to staff and other organisational duties
- Supervising room attendants on Head Housekeepers day off
- Recording missing or damaged items and arranging for the item’s repair or replacements with management
- Managing and recording lost property and its return to guests
- Recruiting and training new hotel staff
- Responding to customer complaints or enquiries immediately and reporting any problems to the managment
- Wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows and scouring bathrooms
- Maintaining an inventory of household items, uniforms, equipment and furniture
- Managing the linen stock, deliveries and rejects from outsourced laundry
- Establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures for cleaning and organising the department
- Cleaning and disinfecting equipment at the end of their shift
- Managing staff breaks and holidays

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
