- Job description- We are currently recruiting a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant to work within our friendly, supportive and hardworking team to provide 1:1 support for a pupil at our school, and support the Pastoral Team with other children within school.- **Key points**:

- SEN/SEMH experience required
- Team Teach would be advantageous but not essential
- Assisting students with additional needs and challenging behaviour
- Demonstrating high levels of patience, a nurturing approach and empathy when dealing with challenging behaviour
- Implementing lesson plans by ensuring that the children are engaged and cared for throughout - Creating and maintaining a safe, positive and enjoyable learning environment even when placed under pressure with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Work closely as part of a quick, efficient and consistent team with other members of teaching staff to provide the best care possible for the pupils
