**Job Summary**:
Are you living in Cambridge and looking for for a career change? If so, keep reading We are excited to announce that due to unexpected growth at various sites in the county, we are recruiting for Support Operatives on a full time permanent basis.

As a Support Operative for Avantor, you will be responsible for providing high quality support to scientific teams in a modern Laboratory environment (lab coat & goggles provided). In a typical day, you will oversee stock management, waste management activity including equipment decontamination, general cleaning activities, and the movement of test samples around the Laboratory areas.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, core hours. No more evenings or weekends for those of you working in retail, warehousing or hospitality

**What we’re looking for**
- Previous experience working in a customer-centric environment
- A working knowledge of stock management software is highly desirable
- Comfortable with using IT hardware and software
- You are punctual, ambitious and eager to learn
- You are able to commute easily within Cambridge (driving licence preferred)
