**Billing Coordinator Job Description**
We are looking for an efficient billing coordinator to oversee our billing operations. The billing coordinator will be responsible for creating and sending invoices, tracking payment processes, keeping meticulous records, and resolving any discrepancies. You should also be able to handle client queries and follow up on any issues relating to the billing process.
To be successful as a billing coordinator you should be able to multitask without compromising the accuracy of your work. An outstanding billing coordinator should have a strong numerical aptitude and excellent customer service skills.
**Billing Co-ordinator Responsibilities**
Handling billing and collection operations.
Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing information.
Following up on outstanding payments.
Maintaining and updating client records.
Implementing collection policies and procedures to avoid excessive outstanding debt.
Implementing deadlines for invoicing and payment collection.
Negotiating with customers in cases when non-payment occurs.
Reconciling, researching, and resolving account discrepancies.
Entering and balancing clients' transactional data into the appropriate accounting systems
Setting payment collection goals and achievable targets with input from the GM
Preparing monthly feedback reports on payment collections.
Merging incoming payments with customer accounts.
**Billing Coordinator Requirements**:
Work experience in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
Efficient multitasking and time management skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sound knowledge of admin and/or accounting
Working knowledge of accounting principles.
Strong customer service skills.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
