**Springfield Care Home** is looking for a **Healthcare Assistant** to join our team in Chorley.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to residents in a residential home. You will perform a variety of tasks related to care and maintenance of the facility and other areas within the facility. The position requires excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with a high volume of patients and the need for excellent communication.

**Skills**

- Good problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Health care experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right individuals

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for ensuring you complete mandatory training that is provided to you by the management team.
- You will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities. Including: personal care needs, continence needs, mobility, nutrition and hydration etc.
- You will be responsible for promoting independence and maintaining residents physical and emotional well-being.
- You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and reporting any hazrads to the relevant people.
- You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of communication is maintained between all departments within the home to promote continuity of care.

Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Care home: 1 year (preferred)
