As part of our expanding business, we are seeking a talented technician to assist our Plant and Facilities Reliability Supervisor with our site operations.

Belzona is a world leader in polymer repair composites and industrial coatings. We have grown since our formation in Elland, Yorkshire, and now have manufacturing sites in the UK and USA, as well as distribution and service centres covering the globe.

**What will you do?**

Supporting the Plant and Facilities Reliability Supervisor, you will deputise in their absence, ensuring that plant and facilities are reliably maintained. Problem solving, Organisational and Administrative skills are a must, as well as the ability to organise and assess contractors.

You will be covering both reactive and planned maintenance activities, project work, integrating new equipment and assisting other managers with their site projects.

We operate a two-shift system, although this role is day shift based (0700-1500); there may be occasional late shifts required, for which an 18% shift bonus is applied. We always give plenty of notice and appreciate people like regular hours.

**Essential requirements**
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
- Competence in standard Microsoft Office 365 packages as well as Planned Preventative Maintenance Software
- A positive “can-do” approach
- Good communication skills
- Technical competence

**Desirable requirements**
- Time served engineering apprenticeship or HND (mechanical preferred, but electrical and maintenance engineering also appreciated)
- Experience in 5s
- Experience of working in a challenging environment
- Experience of contractor management.
- Sets high standards in work and housekeeping.
- Experience of Risk Assessment, MSD, PUWER generation and review
- Experience of Auditing
- Understanding of ATEX implications/controls
