**About The Role**:
We have fantastic new opportunity available for a Community Fundraiser to join our rewarding and growing team This is an exciting home-based role which would suit someone looking to build and develop their fundraising experience or broaden their sector experience in a major national charity.

You will join our Regional Engagement team to help deliver the regional budget. Success in your role will enable our colleagues to campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today.

Our team have a wealth of experience and skills to support you. Previous experience as a fundraiser is not essential, although an attitude to being a team-player is. In our team, help will always be there. Recruiting, managing and appreciating the value of our volunteers is essential. You need to inspire and motivate them to develop lifelong support.

**Being based in Hampshire, Isle of Wight or Channel Isles is **not** a requirement but occasional travel to/within the patch will be expected. Counties which border this area include Wiltshire, Dorset, Sussex and Berkshire. We can offer flexibility on working pattern/days worked.**

**About you**
- Experience in working within a Fundraising sector or community fundraising would be advantageous.
- Be a self-starter and can work within a fast-paced, creative, and diverse environment.
- Demonstrate your resourceful and inspirational nature, giving our supporters the best possible experience when raising incredible sums.
- Experience in conducting presentations to businesses and various groups (desirable)

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written [essential]
- Strong interpersonal and interpretation skills will allow you to have open jargon-free conversations with the business.
- Be ambitious, target-driven & will relish the opportunity to bring real growth to the programme.
- Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be an innovative thinker and incredibly motivated.
