**Job description**:
**Are you an experienced Support Worker who have previous experience supporting service users with challenging behaviours?**

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Male Support Workers to work with our service user, who requires assistance during the day and night on a 1:1 basis.

Our service user is an adult male who has epilepsy with frequent active seizures. He currently lives alone and needs the assistance from his care team to help with day-to-day tasks as well as any clinical interventions. A day to day could include but is not limited to mobility assistance, encouragement to carry out tasks such as personal care and administering medication and support with meal prep and light household duties.

He enjoys socialising with his friends at the pub and shops, he also has a great relationship with his elderly neighbour. Some of his other hobbies include listening to music on Spotify, watching tv and supporting his favourite football team, Leeds united.

During the night he will sleep throughout, however he does always require monitoring in case a seizure occurs.

**Essential Experience Required**
- Support Work
- Managing Challenging Behaviours
- Diffusing situations
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- Epilepsy awareness / management

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Full Time and Part Time
- Days and Nights
- 8-8s

**Our ideal applicants will be flexible to support both days & nights**

**Due to the occupational requirements of this role we are only recruiting Male support workers.**
