Head of Hospitality

Head of Hospitality - good work life balance - Christmas off - £35,000 - A unique learning environment set within beautiful grounds, with flower, herb and vegetable gardens, apple orchards and a large greenhouse. They offer a variety of courses, retreats, and classes from Friday through to Tuesday and are currently looking fora Head of Hospitality to manage the day-to-day operation.
This will include overseeing 60 bedrooms, 8 classrooms, 4 dining rooms and common areas such as libraries, small meeting rooms and offices. They cater for breakfast, lunch, and supper for up to 100 covers a day. There is an emphasis on fresh, seasonal cuisinewith 40% of the menu grown within the gardens.

The role requires working closely with the kitchen and accommodation teams, liaising with course leaders and the bookings and event manager daily to ensure everything runs smoothly. There is a real focus on the highest standards of customer service for guests,partners, staff, and the public.
The role can require physically helping the teams during peak demand periods, but otherwise has considerable decision space to develop the services by increasing the utilisation of the residential accommodation and developing our catering for our guestsand potentially for the local community.
