We are looking for an experienced evening housekeeper with an impeccable eye for detail.

**Summary of the role**:
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the evening housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the building, ensuring service standards for members are exceeded at all times during the evening and into the night.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Establishment of cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures
- Coaching and developing junior cleaning team in line with The Ministry’s Standards
- Inspection of cleaning equipment on a regular basis so as to know when they are worn-out and also request for replacement
- Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimise waste and/or misuse
- Attend, participate and contribute to team briefings
- Maintain the care and use of supplies
- Auditing and inspecting all areas of the building
- Report any maintenance defects
- Ensure that all cleaning materials are being handled correctly and to be fully aware of COSHH regulations and data

**Key skills / qualities required**:

- The ability to multitask
- The ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Good eye for detail

Please note this role begins on a zero hours contract, but we ideally require our cleaners to be available on a full-time basis from Monday to Friday. This role is an evening / night-time shift.

**Salary**: £11.95 per hour
