We are looking for a passionate and highly enthusiastic **Payroll Assistant **to join our payroll team in Diss. Flexible working available with some opportunity to work from home.

**Duties**:
As part of the Haines Watts Diss team, you will be working within a friendly, busy, fast-growing and progressive payroll team covering external payroll for clients. Duties include:
- Ensuring that client employees are paid accurately and timely by processing weekly and monthly payroll's from end to end
- Processing auto enrolment for clients as necessary
- PAYE/NIC and CIS Administration
- Statutory calculations and discussions
- Meeting RTI obligations including end of year submissions, issue of P60's Contributing to the provision of an excellent service to a diverse range of external clients, providing support to managers and partners
**Qualifications & Experience**:
At least 2 years experience in a payroll department or in a payroll related role, with an excellent understanding of payroll statutory obligations such as Maternity, Paternity, SSP, Tax, NI, CIS, Auto Enrolment and Holiday Pay.
You'll be customer orientated with an efficient and professional approach with all contacts. You'll also have an excellent attention to detail and understand the need for confidentiality at all times.
Ideally you will have completed the CIPP Payroll Technician course or equivalent but this is not essential.
