**Hours: 18 hours x 38 weeks Term Time**

**Monday to Thursday, 10.15am to 2pm and Friday 10.30am to 1.30pm**

The Food Service Assistant will undertake a range of catering tasks with limited supervision by the Catering Manager; to ensure the Health and Safety at Work Act and Food Safety Legislation are adhered to; to assist in food preparation, finishing of food, transporting of food and service of food whilst maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness; operating a point of sale and stock management system; to serve customers and to hold responsibility for cash handling.

You will have a good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and Food Safety Legislation, have experience of working in a catering service, and have effective customer service skills.
