**Collections/Reconciliation Clerk**
**Location - **Denton, Manchester, M34 3UL
**Employment Type - **Permanent, Monday to Friday, 20 Hours a Week with flexible working hours.

**Job Role**
We are looking for a self-motivated and eager finance individual willing to coordinate and process all aspects of financial administration and credit control including the improvement of processes. To work closely with the Junior Credit Controllers, Credit Control Manager and collaborate with the wider finance team
**Key Tasks**
- Post and process cash, cheques and credit card payments onto Accounting system Holiday/busy times cover
- Allocate credit notes and cash receipts timely to customer accounts
- Maintain the cash on delivery cash sheets for secure collection Holiday/busy times cover
- Scan and electronically file finance documents within ADM system holiday/busy times cover
- Maintain and reconcile daily transport run sheets Holiday/busy times Cover
- Assist with DNBI checks and assess credit rating for new customers
- Chase credit accounts (Monthly/Weekly & Daily)
- Monitoring and actioning the accounts inbox Holiday/busy times cover
- Investigate and resolve customer disputes
- Cash Allocation
- Processing credit card payments over the phone
- Issuing Statements (S1 posting out & Checking)
- Checking and posting out every Monday the S1 invoices
- Notification letters
- Issue the credit account confirmation letters
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
**Qualifications and Skills**
- A level education with demonstrable academic success
- Professionally qualified is preferable but not essential
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, confident with all types of data
- Good communicator
**Experience**
- Previous experience with Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Extensive experience within a fast-paced Finance team
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Strong focus on systems and MS Office is a major requirement
