It's an exciting time at The Croft, as we have an opening for a Care Team Leader to join the team. This is a permanent position working 38 hours a week.

A fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to join a supportive encouraging organisation. The Croft is looking for a Care Team Leader, who will make a difference in our service users lives and, in return have access to opportunities for learning anddevelopment in a supportive team environment

**About The Croft:
The Croft Care Home is a community based residential care home in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. We provide a diverse range of care and support service for our residents.

The Croft Care Home provides a friendly, compassionate, supportive, and welcoming home from home environment with regular and varied activities. Outings and events are also organised.

**Our Care Team Leader’s duties will consist of:
- To ensure that systems are in place to enable staff to be supported and supervised appropriately
- Respecting the values, culture, and beliefs of everyone
- To develop a person-centre team that makes a real difference to people’s lives
- Ensuring that any complaints, concerns, or requests are responded to effectively and timely
- Mentoring and coaching staff
- Minimising and assessing risks to keep each individual safe
- To ensure that the best interests of each person we support are the centre of any decisions made about their life, and to work in partnership with them, their advocates, family, friends, and significant others

**Our Care Team Leader’s skills and experience:
- An understanding of person
- centred support and safeguarding
- Be well organised
- Have an NVQ L3 Health & Social Care, or relevant qualification
- Experience in working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs as well as having experience and/or passion for enhancing individual’s quality of life through positive behaviour support
- Flexibility a ‘can do’ attitude and a sense of humour is a must too as well as being able to work independently and a as part of a team
- To support the management and take the lead in service delivery, you will be expected to carry out daily tasks as well as senior duties
- To be able to undertake a flexible working pattern
- Experience in supporting adults in a care setting or in the community
- Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility
- Have supervisory/management experience
