Call Centre Associate

**The opportunity**
We have an opportunity for a Call Centre Associate to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. Having become a fully authorised bank in 2020, we pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank, providing specialist property mortgages, retail finance lending and savings accounts to a variety of customers.
Joining the Saving Operations team and reporting to our Savings Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our customers by providing them with exceptional service when they call in by telephone enquiring about our savings products, talking them through complex savings processes to help them better understand our products and services. You will provide support to customers wishing to open accounts, assisting them with the administration of this process by telephone. In addition, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of customer accounts, ensuring their queries are answered effectively whilst maintaining a positive Castle Trust Bank brand at all times.
**Hybrid**
This is a full-time role, initially based in our Basingstoke office 5 days per week during training after which you will then be able to work on a hybrid arrangement consisting of 3 days per week in Basingstoke and 2 days working from home. Hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
**What we are looking for in you.**
What is important to us is that you have proven experience working in a customer service setting where you are used to dealing with customers in a telephony environment, ideally within financial services. Considering the nature of the role, it is also important that you have excellent communication skills, with a passion for delivering a first-class customer experience. The role is varied; therefore, you will need to be comfortable in prioritising your tasks effectively and completing them proactively. Our environment is constantly evolving; therefore, it is also important that you are comfortable with adapting to change.
What is equally important is that you are comfortable working well autonomously, as well as part of a team with the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail. You will need to be confident working with various computer systems; therefore it is desired that you have a good understanding of Microsoft Office products.
