Our client is a well-established and reputable business working in the healthcare industry. They pride themselves on providing outstanding levels of service to their clients and their down to earth approach.

They are seeking a confident and focused Finance Supervisor to join their team working on a full-time permanent basis in the Launceston area. The salary is between £26,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience.

The Role

The purpose of the role is to oversee the finance team and ensure the accuracy and smooth running of the accounting function.
The main duties include (but are not limited to): -- Overseeing the purchase and sales ledger to ensure no issues
- Daily complex bank reconciliation
- Inter-company accounts
- Produce monthly management accounts in a format prescribed
- Monthly payroll
- VAT returns
- Maintaining records for annual declarations
- Maintaining petty cash with monthly reconciliation
- Supervision and development of junior members of staff
- Dealing with insurances and other duties to be specified on the job description
- Knowledge of using accountancy software and Microsoft packages
- AAT Level 4 (or equiv.)
- Great attention to detail
- Personable and friendly
- Ability to use initiative
- Can manage and set own deadlines
- Organised and methodical approach to work
- Efficient and accurate
