Kitchen Fitter

**Job Overview**
We are seeking carpenters or kitchen fitters that want a side step in fitting kitchens with on going work around the cornwall area; the work is located on new build sites hense the requirements for equipment.

The work is supplied through Symphony PLC group, however we are expecting to secure additional avenues of work as in howdens commercial sector and possibly wrens in the future as the team expands.

Currently the area is screaming for fitters and can safely be said the work will be steady for 5 years atleast.

Training will be given on how to fit to the product to a high quality and efficiently to enable the on-comers to confidently fit a kitchen a day if not more.

It's a full time position but willing to take on part time applicants who have a main source of work and want to fill dead spots in the diary.

There is also an incentive to train your own apprentices aswell and handle those finances yourself how you see fit, with an upgraded pay structure.

Its self employed positions only, own tools and transport required, within exception of certain circumstances while being trained.

**Requirements**:

- Blue (skilled) cscs card; Minimum to be able to work independently.
- M-class dust extractor
- Face fit mask
- Own tools and transport.

**Duties**
- The kitchens are pre-assembled and 80% of the time door handles pre-drilled.
- Dry fit only, no plumbing required, sometimes under
- lights but normally only installing the kitchen.
- Own remedials must be carried out, paid per hour. (Subject to change as the team expands)
- Build positive relationships with the site managers as this works in all of our favour.
- Clear waste into skips provided on request, normally outside your plot.
- Potential to manage your own workload aswell.

**Experience**

Must be confident in working alone and able to lift 50kg wotktops by yourself into position.

Must have a can do attitude and be reliable, due to workloads being managed and maintaining relationships with the construction site managment and the installation managers.

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
