**About the Role**:
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hands-on individual to join VGS as a **Trainee Fabricator**. This is a great chance to kick-start your career in the glazing and fabrication industry, learning how to produce high-quality aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling systems used in commercial and bespoke projects across the UK.

No previous fabrication experience is needed - just a good work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. You’ll be working alongside skilled fabricators in a modern, well-equipped facility, learning the ropes of aluminium manufacturing from the ground up.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Assisting with the fabrication of aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling
- Learning to use hand tools, machinery, and equipment safely and correctly
- Supporting the team with cutting, prepping, assembling, and finishing tasks
- Reading and understanding production drawings (with training)
- Following workshop processes and quality standards
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient work area
- Taking pride in your work and developing your skills over time

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A genuine interest in fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing
- Good attention to detail and a hands-on, practical mindset
- Willingness to learn from experienced team members
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude, good timekeeping, and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience using tools or working in a workshop environment (advantageous but not essential)
