If you have a Customer service focused background and thrived on dealing with and resolving complaints then this brand new role of Apprentice Community Safety (Anti-Social Behaviour) Officer might be the ideal role for you This is a role where you could really make a difference to our communities while starting a career within Social Housing.

What will you be doing as an Apprentice Community Safety (Anti-Social Behaviour) Officer??

As part of this apprenticeship, you will assist in the delivery of an excellent Community Safety Service to customers, alongside colleagues and key stakeholders, to build strong and safe communities.? The work will be varied and interesting and you will have the support of a mentor throughout your apprenticeship.?

You will be involved in all aspects of Community Safety investigating reports of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), compiling evidence and taking steps to effectively resolve concerns for our customers. You will support with the preparation of case files and legal documents, for referral to solicitors or for legal proceedings.?You will also work with a wide range of partner agencies including the Police or Local Authorities, to find resolutions to ASB, either by prevention, early intervention, or legal sanctions.?

You will remotely study a Level 4 Anti-Social Behaviour & Community Safety Officer Apprenticeship standard provided by Resolve Training, alongside learning and working with experienced Community Safety Officers during the rest of the week.?

Excellent communication skills?

Excellent organisation skills, and ability to meet deadlines?

Interest of working in the Housing Sector

Experience of working with customers and complaint resolution

Strong Administration skills

IT skills

Team working?

Grade 4 or above GCSE or equivalent in English would be desirable?

Grade 4 or above GCSE or equivalent in Maths would be desirable

This is a mobile role and you will be out in our communities around Birmingham and Leicestershire so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.?

As this role will be working with our customers a DBS Check will also be required.
