Our logistics team are responsible for keeping everything moving. They ensure that millions of pieces of mail are delivered on time every year across the UK and internationally.

Without logistics we simply wouldn’t be able to function. The physical transportation of mail is what we do.

**About the role**

Working in a loud, busy environment, spending at least half of your time outdoors, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the receipt and preparation of mail for aircraft departure. You must be able to lift and carry mailbags and boxes weighing up to 11kg and push wheeled containers weighing up to 250kg. You also need to be able to pull / push containers (Unit Load device) weighing up to 2000kg in a team of 4 or pull wheeled barrows up to 500kg in a team of 2. Part of the role may involve working in a confined space loading mail to underbelly aircraft holds and working at height on aircraft main decks. You will also be expected to work on and around mobile conveyers and Hi-lo loaders. The ability to be able to work safely is essential.

Computer literacy is also desirable, but not essential. You should be able to work to tight deadlines and be reliable and punctual.

Age 16 £7.25 +12 months
Age 17 £8.46
Age 18 £10.88 £12.09

20 Part time (working from 21:50 to 01:50 Monday to Friday)

We are looking to offer Permanent contracts
