**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available - this is a Hybrid role currently working two days a week in the office.

**What is the Role?**

As the UX Designer you will contribute to the definition and development of frictionless and consistent customer experiences for our Business Customers and inform the future of digital within Business Energy. You will be part of a cross-functional group of practitioners, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Researchers, other Designers and Developers to create digital services to our customers and define future experiences that are personalised, simple and scalable. As part of your role you will:

- Communicate designs through the creation of meaningful UX deliverables such as sketching, storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, detailed design specification and IA that help the team understand what to build and why to achieve solutions that are right for our customers and adhere to the product vision.
- With Business Analysts, develop and maintain detailed user interface requirements and work with Architects and teams to build and maintain the technical foundation for real-time UX validation, feedback, tracking statistics etc.
- Confidently justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centred design methodologies and existing and emerging technologies e.g. Big Data-Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning.
- Contribute to the development of the centralised digital asset resources to ensure consistency and design integrity.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Strong interaction and visual design skills and the capability to lead on UX design within value streams from flows, wireframes, usability, accessibility, and information architecture using collaborative design tools, with excellent attention to details.
- Experience conducting in-context observations and interviews, and the ability to effectively synthesise and utilise user research, feedback, and requirements of multiple stakeholder groups.
- Proficient in design, wireframing and prototyping tools including Adobe, Figma, Sketch or similar standard tools.
- Demonstratable experience in research, personas, UX flows, experience maps, wireframes, prototypes and user testing, with examples of both data-driven decision making and instinct based decision making.
- Knowledge of information architecture in desirable.
